Badass Finesse Jigs

I've been crafting jigs for years; over that time, I've tried a ton of different hooks and styles from a variety of different manufacturers. I've tried countless weight and hook size combinations. This my friends, is what I've found to be the perfect combination of both, and I throw it a lot.

In the end what do you get?  A Baddass jig that is made of quality materials combined with detailed craftmanship to create the stickiest jig set up you'll ever use!

Every Baddass jig starts off with a hand pour and powder coat. It's finished utilizing a thermo-controlled and UV cure for the durability it needs to take a beating.  To finish things up it is then inspected, skirted, reinspected and finally packaged and ready for your next adventure. 

Why this particular weight and hook combo? For starters the weights are 1/8 oz. or 3/16 oz.  available on a 3/0 or 4/0 hook. I prefer the longer shank and wider hook gap because small gaps don't grab and hold as quickly or efficiently as large gaps so I use the largest gap you can get away with in order to get a nice slow drop. I throw the 3/16 oz. weight when the wind is up, excessive current or I'm fishing deeper water. 3/0 for 3" or 4" trailer or 4/0 for 5"+ trailer and because it fishes so well, I've named it Baddass simply because it is!

Note: Watch your line right after the cast because pick-ups on the drop are not uncommon at all.
