The Hybrid X design is what takes it to the next level. We've added a Teflon© center to eliminate any possibility of line chafe and incorporated design elements to enhance its amplification qualities.
Each Hybrid X starts off with a hand pour and powder coat and is finished utilizing a thermo-controlled and UV cure to provide the durability it needs to take the beating it so richly deserves.

When you react to the bite and set the hook, that’s where BrandXBaits's engineering comes into play.
Engineered with the hookset in mind, the Hybrid X Flipping Jig system carries into battle a patent-pending Hybrid X Jig Head: A carefully selected 60-degree offset jig hook, a pair of glass beads, and your favorite choice of trailer to provide plenty of attraction for largemouth bass .
The Hybrid X attaches directly through your line and to your hook. (We recommend a strong braided line for a maximum experience when largemouth bass fishing in heavy vegetation.)
On the hookset, our weighted system design and components come together to deliver a cam-like leveraged action resulting more often in deeper penetration and connection into the roof of the fish's mouth, rather than a side shot where membrane is weak. Pulling fish through thick vegetation or brush creates holes that, as many of you know, more often than not results in fish getting off the hook.
A deep bone shot in the fish's mouth not only increases your hook-up percentage, but more importantly, it is key to jig fishing and getting them into the boat.

You will often hear fishermen talking about punching mats, grass, or matted vegetation in their search for largemouth bass. What they're referring to is any kind of surface vegetation that has open water under it. For largemouth bass fishing those two components can create conditions that are simply perfect for jig fishing our Hybrid XP which allows you to punch through or flip into those mats with ease and; Yes, big fish like to live here!.
These mats can come and go as the seasons change, and will at times provide a better source of cover for fish than other times. It really depends on where you are located and the kind of vegetation that is growing in that particular body of water.
